Nancy Glazier
Nancy Glazier began oil painting at eight years of age. Her grandmother
responded to a child's yearning and took her to her first art supply store. "I
still remember that wonderful smell. I still feel how my heart beat, and how
everything seemed to shine.
As a child, Glazier's pets were her soul mates. Surrounded by many small pets,
she longed for horses and great dogs. As an adult, she milked goats, rode
horses, raised buffalo and trained dogs. Today the artist prefers that most of
her animals be truly wild and free.
"Elk, deer, moose, bear, cougar,
coyote, fox; birds from osprey to pine siskin share their territory with me.
All around me is living, constantly changing inspiration."
